Fall Baking Ideas/ How To Make Apple Fritters with Caramel Drizzle!

How to make apple fritters with caramel drizzle is a welcome taste of fall. In the Sweet Life Kitchen I am cooking up these lovelies with my girls that I have captured their entire lives. It’s such a treat to be a part of their lives as their artist AND Auntie A! All you need to make this recipe you’ll find below! What you’ll need:
Pan with oil to fry
Fresh peeled apples (about two cups)
2 cups baker’s flour
powdered sugar
“A Dollop” of vanilla extract ( basically a larger than life tablespoon) 🙂
1/3 cup sugar
2 beaten eggs
1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon of allspice
1/8 teaspoon of ginger
1/2 cup of melted butter
1/2 cup of buttermilk
( to make homemade buttermilk just simply squeeze a fresh lemon into your milk!)

What to do:
In your blender add the flour, sugar, all the spices, add the buttermilk, eggs, butter and apples. Once everything is combined. Spoon the mixture into hot oil and fry them up! While that’s happening make your caramel sauce by doing this:
3 tablespoons of heavy cream
1/2 stick of butter
1 cup of brown sugar
Melt that down to make the sauce

As the fritters come out of the oil lay them on a towel to drain off the oil. Drizzle with the caramel sauce, dust with powdered sugar and fall sprinkles. ENJOY! They taste like a Fall Funnel cake!
