Making kale and beet chips in the microwave is a healthy alternative for snacking. Fast and easy recipe that can be enjoyed in small batches, mixed with nuts to make a homemade trail mix and everyone will enjoy it!
You need:
A few kale sprigs torn into small pieces
A beet sliced thin
For the savory kale drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with onion and garlic salt
place on a paper towel lined plate and microwave for 8 minutes
For the sweet beets drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with ginger, garlic and sugar
place on a paper towel lined plate and microwave for 8 minutes
Once out of microwave let stand until cool and they will be crispy, place in a air tight container so they stay fresh…enjoy!
