Chocolate LOVERS rejoice! Here’s how to make a buttermilk fudge pie!
There really isn’t anything better in life is it? This easy recipe will have you enjoying pie in a few hours. My family loves it with fresh whipping cream infused with either vanilla, almond or my magnolia syrup!
You will need:
3 eggs
2 cups of sugar
1/4 cup flour
Pinch of salt
1 cup of coco powder
1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup buttermilk
vanilla to taste
Cream the sugar/salt and eggs and butter, then add in alternating the buttermilk with the flour and then the coco powder. lastly drop a dollop of vanilla extract. Pour into a pre-made pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour until center is barely jiggly. Set on counter to cool and make whip cream.
Lovely with a garnish of raspberries, drizzled with chocolate sauce or just plain! Yes, folks… it really stands alone just fine too! 🙂
