Learn to make a delicious jam from strawberries and peppers! This recipe is an easy addition to your morning fare on pancakes, English muffins and scones. It is a simple refrigerator variety that does not require traditional canning and keeps for several weeks.
You’ll need:
1 pack of pectin
5 cups of sugar
1 cup of AC vinegar
1 cup of strawberries
3 cups of shredded peppers from your garden ( I used a few banana, and jalapeño)
What to do:
place the sugar, and vinegar and fruits and veggies onto the stove and macerate
when they are boiling add the pectin
pour into sterilized jars and seal, cooling on the counter fro several hours on countertop
Then place in refrigerator, keeps for several weeks
