Hummingbirds are beautiful to watch and if you’ll keep a feeder filled and clean in a shady place you’ll see plenty of them in your yard this month!
You’ll need: 1 cup of sugar
4 cups of water
Red food coloring
What you need to do: Boil the water and dissolve the sugar until it’s made a syrup and then add the red coloring to a desired bright color that will attract the hummers. Fill into the feeds once cooled and hang in the yard under a tree in a shady place. Keep stored in the refrigerator and add to the feeder as needed remembering to clean the feeder every two weeks and start from scratch.
