Summertime Peachy Lemonade

This is a refreshing take on an old favorite and especially lovely 

with shortbread cookies by the pool! 

You’ll need:

4 cups water     

2 cups coarsely chopped peaches

3/4 cup sugar    

1 cup lemon juice (about 4 to 6 lemons)

 1 peach, cut into wedges

  Fresh mint or thyme for garnish

What You need to do: 

On the stovetop on high heat, combine the sugar, peaches and sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer for 3 minutes. Let cool and then pulse in blender. Place in refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Add the lemon juice and garnish with fresh mint from the garden.
