How to make Deli Style 1/2 Dill Pickles! Fast and easy cucumber preservation!(DIY Pickles)

Hey Sweet Lifers! Here’s how to make a 1/2 dill pickle just like the ones we all love at the deli. I love them because they are fast and easy and not one person in my family does not enjoy it with a sandwich. I think you’ll enjoy this recipe too.

What you’ll need:
2 cups of water
2 tablespoons of Himalayan Sea salt
3 tablespoons of pickling spices
cloves
sage
bay
peppercorn
mustard seeds
2 tablespoons of minced garlic
whole small cucumbers
2 jars with clean lids and toppers
Sprinkle the pickle crisp granules
2 fresh bay leaves
3-4 stems of fresh dill

What you’ll do:
Pack the jars with the cucumbers
Combine everything else in a bowl and ladel the liquid into the jars
Sprinkle with the pickle crisp granules
Tuck into the jars the fresh bay leaves
Stick fresh dill in as well
Put on the lids and stick in to the refrigerator
Check every two days or so until they get the flavor you prefer
Enjoy!
