1 lb ground beef
1/2 red onion diced very fine
2 tsp minced garlic
1tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 cup soy sauce (I use gluten free)
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp sesame seed oil
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp ground ginger
chopped lettuce, chopped red peppers, withered Swiss chard
2 cups of cooked rice
In a skillet heat the oil and add in the onion, garlic. Then add in the beef and break into tiny bits. In a small bowl whisk together soy sauce, sugar, oil, and all the spices pour then into the cooked beef. Simmer for 5 mins.
In a bowl place a spoonful of rice then a spoonful of meat then add a handful of lettuce, swiss chard and sprinkle chia seeds to your liking and finish by adding a bunch of red bell peppers for crunch and color. If you desire you can add more soy sauce or ponzu to taste.
